Article on open versus proprietary mobile architectures

This article is focused on gaming, but the underlying issue is whether the Tegra, which is pretty proprietary, or another more open chipset will (and should) dominate the Android world.

I see a better future in Samsung’s Exynos becoming dominant, because the closer a chipset adheres to the ARM standards, the easier it will be to write and maintain applications that take optimal advantage of it.
